Eastern Bluebirds

I had an opportunity to watch a pair of Eastern Bluebirds while on a recent vacation in the USA.  These are very

colorful birds with their signature contrasting blue and raw umber plumage.  I particularly like the composition

of this painting.  In areas where Eastern Bluebirds flourish, birdhouses houses such as depicted in the piece are

not uncommon.  They are a choice habitant for these small songbirds.  This a popular paining with many.
